OzCal is a water soluble granule form of Lime. This product is used to correct Calcium deficiencies and increase the pH of acidic soils. OzCal is best distributed with a fertiliser spreader.

The importance of neutralising value and particle size
Neutralising Value (NV) is an indicator of a Lime’s purity and its ability to neutralise acid in the soil. The most accurate way to assess lime is to use effective neutralising value (ENV), which is a calculation that takes into account the particle size and the NV of a lime. Agricultural Lime typically has an ENV of 40% to 80%. Ozcal has a NV of 99% indicating high purity and ultra fine particles. The smaller the particle size the more reactive the Lime is in the soil and the quicker acidity is neutralised.
